The HEXT cable is a high end solution that will improve the quality of what you are hearing from your headphones. The HEXT cables performs as advertised.
My studio was already wired with Mogami Gold cables. The weak link in my monitoring chain was the lesser quality headphone extension cable that I had used for years. So, when I was made aware of Sonic Nuance’s HEXT cable, I was definitely intrigued. Upon receiving the cable, I was impressed with the build quality of the cable. More importantly, I was impressed with the sound quality of the HEXT cable as it possessed a sound quality that I was familiar with.
I tried the HEXT cable with my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Studio Headphones that I am very accustomed to. First, I listened through my lesser quality extension cable and then through the HEXT cable. The HEXT cable was louder, bigger, fuller, and clearer. With my previous cable, I was only receiving half of my sound. The HEXT cable allowed more detail and fidelity from my headphones.
I am very satisfied with Ted’s cable and I am sure that you will be too. It’s a finely made product that is hand built by a great guy. This product will allow you and the people you record to enjoy a very noticeable improvement in the quality of your headphone listening experience.
