Sonic Nuance MDI – It does what it says on the tin! I Googled “jensen di with mute” and found exactly the product I hoped would exist: a great-sounding Jensen-based DI, built like a tank, with a mute switch. I play accordion, so I didn’t need the tuner function of the TDI model, just a mute switch so I can take the instrument off stage with me after soundcheck without having to wildly gesture at the engineer to mute or unmute my channel later on. I always prefer to travel with my own DI rather than rely on whatever the venue or sound company happens to have available, and this box meets both needs perfectly. If I happened to play bass or acoustic guitar, I would be all over the TDI model as a perfect all-in-one signal chain with no batteries or power supplies needed. I’m a completely satisfied customer.
